Geothermal Heat Pumps
The Earth’s crust maintains roughly 50°F all throughout the year. By leveraging that, during the summer we can pump hot water into the ground to cool it, and in the winter, pump cold water into the ground to warm it.
Water pipes are buried 4 to 6 Ft under the ground and connected to a system in your home that can harness the temperature of the water. Wells could be placed between 150 and 400 Ft deep.
Heat Pumps
Heat pumps are a cheaper option to Geothermal by leveraging the outside air. They perform air conditioning in the summer, but can also heat your home in the winter by reversing the process.
Solar Heating & Electric
By leveraging the heat from the sun, Solar Water Heating pumps water through solar panels to heat up before being stored. Alternatively, Solar Electric harnesses the energy from the sun and converts it in to electricity to be used.
